WWU Graduate Centre, Münster

The team of the WWU Graduate Centre assists international doctorates in getting used to life in Münster. We try to create a warm welcome in our university and in the city. Christian Raestrup’s guided tour introduced the young researchers to the main attractions of the city and revealed the essential facts about their past. Everybody enjoyed listening to the interesting and entertaining stories about Münster’s moving history and its exciting present.

The visit of my supervisor Prof. Bright and my business partner Prof. Korff with their families was an important milestone in my doctoral thesis project. At that weekend in November 2016 we worked a lot, had a business conference and made important progress in the research project. In addition to the intensive work program we had, I asked Christian Raestrup to do a comprehensive city tour of Münster. Christian did the tour very well and he was one of the highlights of that weekend. We already booked Christian for our next conference and are looking forward to his interesting stories and insights of the history of Münster.

In February, we experienced together with you a very precious highlight – the first small city tour in Chinese! That’s really something special. An important group of colleagues from China came over to see us. After our intense project work, we were able to relax with you a little and enjoy the beautiful historic city center of Muenster. We wish you good luck, especially with guests from China!
